Kitten Foster Homes Needed! Kitten season is here! We are already scrambling to place kittens into foster homes. We have immediate need for people who can foster bottlebabies, moms with kittens and kittens without moms. Get a kitten fix! These little guys don't come any cuter.
FURR is a close-knit group of people passionate about the plight of homeless cats. We want our family to grow so that we can make a bigger impact in our community. Please contact us if you would like to help.
Bottlebabies must be fed every 3 hours so bottlefeeders need to either be stay-at-home moms, work from home or have another suitable arrangement.
Moms with kittens are a cinch to foster. The momma cat does all the work! You just get all the fun. Friendly mothers are spayed and placed into homes. Feral mothers are spayed and returned to their colony.
All kittens are spayed and neutered prior to placement. FURR pays for all vet expenses at our approved vets. We have a helpful network of volunteers who can help the new volunteers learn the ropes.
FURR is looking for reliable volunteers to help care for our kitties that live at the Phillipsburg, NJ and Whitehall, PA Petco stores. There are 3 to 6 cats that live there full time. Cleaners responsibilities include changing cat litter, feeding the cats, wiping down the living environment and giving kisses and cuddles. Typical time committment is 1 to 2 hours.
Cleaners must be 18 years of age or older (per Petco), kind, dependable and comfortable handling all temperaments of cats. Thanks goes out to the wonderful new volunteers who have recently joined us to help with this important task. Almost all of our shifts are now covered! FURR volunteers Rock!
