Frannie
and Carter are both FELV+ , which means that they are positive for feline leukima but
neither shows signs of being sick. It is our hope to find a special and loving
person or family who would be willing to take them in, give them as much love as
possible and a happy home to live out their lives together.
Frannie
and Carter are brother and sister. They were found at a cement company where
they lived in a cat colony with a total of 13 cats. They are love bugs who climb
and play and love to purr!!!! Carter's eyes are a little glossy, which was
caused by living at a cement company, but nothing is wrong with them. With great
nutrition and love, his eyes will clear up eventually.
These
two have to be adopted together since they really love one another. They
must go to a house with other FELV+ cats or to a household with no other cats. Remember
FELV+ cats cannot give leukemia to humans but it can be spread to other
cats.
Franny
and Carter are
UTD
on all their shots, have been wormed, tested negative for FIV, and are spay/neutered.

FURR is a 100% volunteer organization. Every penny donated goes to paying our vet bills, caring for our cats living at Petco and TNR. Our adoptions fees don't come close to paying the bills. Please help us save more lives. FURR is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.
It is now kitten season and we are in dire need for more foster homes. Please contact us if you can foster a litter of kittens, bottlebabies or a mom with kittens. FURR pays for all vet care at our partner vets, and experienced foster parents are available to help the newbies through the joys of raising kittens. Fostering is fun, wonderful and saves lives.
