Luigi
and his brother Yoshi are two of the sweetest cats you could ever hope to meet! Both
brother's have the cutest, stubby, kinked tails. As soon as you get to know
them, they will turn right over on their bellies for you to pet them and the
look of total bliss on their faces encourage you never to stop doing it.
Luigi
is very affectionate, the kind of cat who will love you unconditionally forever.
He is shy at fist but once he knows you and his surroundings, he will explore
and be interested in everything he sees. Once he's done exploring, he will play
and once he's done playing he will cuddle with you or just sit on your lap to
chill out with you.
Luigi
and Yoshi were adopted from FURR when they were 6 months old. Unfortunately,
rather than being returned to us (FURR will always take back a cat we adopt out
and we let adopters know this during the adoption process), Luigi and Yoshi were
surrendered to a kill shelter. Luckily, we got them both back after being
contacted by the shelter before they were to be euthanized.
It
would ideal for these brothers to be adopted together but it is not absolutely
necessary.
Luigi
is UTD on all his shots, has been wormed, tested negative for FIV and FELV, and
is neutered. Luigi is residing at the Adoption Center in the Phillipsburg, NJ Petco
and he will be there for our weekly adoption days every Saturday from 10-4. Call
Bobbi 908-652-1278 for more information or email us at info@felineurbanrescueandrehab.org.

Jennifer on Luigi: The
first time I met Luigi was the second day he was at the Adoption Center in the
Philipsburg Petco. He was so scared after all he had been through he scrunched
himself up as small as he could make himself and pushed himself into the corner
of the kitty condo. I petted him and whispered to him that it would be alright
now and that soon enough he and I would be friends. He started to relax within
minutes once he started to trust me. Two days later when I saw him for the
second time, he was relaxed and lounging in the condo! As soon as I opened the
door and started petting him, he practically did a head-over-paws somersault
onto his belly for some belly rubbing! I love getting to see him and pet him.
He's an amazing cat who has been through a lot. All that hardship could have
been minimized if his adopters contacted us to surrender him. I will never
understand how you can just get rid of any cat but especially cats as wonderful
as him.
Laura On Luigi and Yoshi: Luigi and his brother Yoshi are both
very sweet boys. Luigi is a bit more animated and outgoing; Yoshi is a mite
shy. Although they could be adopted to separate homes, they seem bonded to one
another, as they prefer to spend most of their time together in one kitty
condo. Both these kitties seem very patient and tolerant, and yet playful. I
think they would be a perfect match for a family with middle school age
children.

FURR is a 100% volunteer organization. Every penny donated goes to paying our vet bills, caring for our cats living at Petco and TNR. Our adoptions fees don't come close to paying the bills. Please help us save more lives. FURR is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.
It is now kitten season and we are in dire need for more foster homes. Please contact us if you can foster a litter of kittens, bottlebabies or a mom with kittens. FURR pays for all vet care at our partner vets, and experienced foster parents are available to help the newbies through the joys of raising kittens. Fostering is fun, wonderful and saves lives.
