My name is Lucy.  My foster Mom tells me I have the most beautiful markings and that my personality is A+.  I am full of energy and curious.  I love to play with a feather wand and chase the feathers through the air.  I also love to sit on the windowsill and watch the world go by.  I like to be petted and rub up against you any chance I get.  In fact, that makes me purr very loudly.  I am not fond of being picked up but my foster Mom is working on that with me.  A while ago, I was living with a man who had way to many cats in his house and I've heard the term "cat hoarder" said in hushed tones.  I'm not sure what that means but I know things were kind of cramped, dirty and I didn't receive the best care or attention.  I was so thin and scared, but boy has that changed!  I now live in a bright sunny place and get lots of love and food.

I am about 2 years old and I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations and Felv/FIV negative.  I share quarters with my friend Lindy who also lived with me in that not-so-good place.  She is shy and was very scared, but she is learning to trust her foster Mom and I know with continued love she will come around.  She plays with me and trusts me.  It would be so cool if we could be adopted together.  I've never been around a dog or kids, so I am not really sure what those things are.

Please contact my foster mom, Debbie at (610) 261-3792 if you are interested in hearing more about me or would like to meet me.

Good with Cats, Good with Kids

FURR is a 100% volunteer organization. Every penny donated goes to paying our vet bills, caring for our cats living at Petco and TNR. Our adoptions fees don't come close to paying the bills. Please help us save more lives. FURR is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.

It is now kitten season and we are in dire need for more foster homes. Please contact us if you can foster a litter of kittens, bottlebabies or a mom with kittens. FURR pays for all vet care at our partner vets, and experienced foster parents are available to help the newbies through the joys of raising kittens. Fostering is fun, wonderful and saves lives.
