Boots and his sister, Suzy - Q, had a rough start in life. Their Mom died and their caregivers put them outside in a barn. Boots hid and would not go near anyone. His distrust of humans was very deep. One day he was given a fuzzy kennel blanket, which became his pacifier. It calmed him down so much so that he began to crave human contact.
