We found Archie in a colony of 50 feral cats. Conditions were not good and he, like many other cats there, was sick. The homeowner did his best to keep them fed but it was a struggle. And it showed. We saw numerous cats of differed ages, but all exhibited the same behavior…listlessness. Nobody was running around or playing. All just hunched in the driveway or back yard in the cold and wet. Archie was trapped, neutered, and held over in a warm environment with plenty of food. It did wonders. He began meowing and rubbing against the cage to be pet. We had no idea he was friendly! Now, it looks like he spent his whole life in a home. He has taken to it fabulously. He is friendly to both cats and dogs and zooms around the house chasing the other cats and playing with toys! He is starved for attention. Once you start petting him he doesn’t want you to stop. He has gotten used to sleeping in bed with his foster family so watch out!
