Florence (female, black and white) and Smokey (male, gray and white) are a bonded pair of siblings. They are funny, playful, affectionate and sweet.
Florence was very skittish when she first arrived, but has warmed up so much in my home these past months. She now seeks attention and loves to be petted. She has even started climbing into my lap to be loved on.
Even when she was more shy, she still liked to be near me. She is also adventurous - she was the first one to climb up the cages and the tower, and the first one in the "ballpit"! She was also the first to greet new (human) guests in the foster room. She especially loves the unicorn tunnel and carrying toys and other objects into it, like my eyeglasses.
Smokey is the more confident one. He is sweet, affectionate and loves attention. When I do a puzzle in the room, he likes to steal pieces and run away with them! He will lie on the puzzle and want to be near me. He LOVES to be petted. He has the cutest little meow when he wants food or attention. He will climb on my lap for cuddles and has become a true lap cat. His favorite toy is the round cat scratcher with the ball that spins around the track. Both love to carry toys in their mouths, and both have such long tails!

In their first foster home, they were with dogs and other cats. In their current foster home, they get along very well with the other cats in the foster room. They will rub against the other cats or allow them to do the same. They also play together.
8/13/23 Note: A lovely couple came to visit my foster room. Guess who was the 1st cat to come out of hiding and interact with them? Florence! She and Smokey enjoyed meeting the people, getting petted, playing with the wand toy, and getting a squeeze-up treat. They've come such a long way!
They just need a patient, loving person to give them a chance to feel comfortable in a new place.
