Alley, Alibaba or Not the Mama as she is called is an 8 year old female cat who was living under the porch of her foster family's neighbor. She was curious but cautious about the people she saw coming in and out of the house next door. She would eat the food they left soon after the people went back inside. One night she decided that she needed more help from the people. She was quite thin when she finally asked for help. She let the 2 younger boys feed her treats and pet her. Unfortunately a dog was out for a walk which spooked her so she left for the night. The next day her foster mom went outside to sit and wait for her to reappear. The foster mom went back inside because she forgot something and when she came back out Alley was waiting for her. She was taken to the vet and found to be fixed but was not microchiped.
She has been living with her foster family which consists of a family of 2 adults and 3 children, aged 18,15 and 11, a dog (who she does not like), 2 other cats and 4 foster kittens. She is a shy cat but very sweet and gets along well with other cats. She was living outside for an unknown period of time and startles at quick movements. She will come sit next to you when you are sitting quietly and loves her face scratched. She is very talkative and meows loudly for food in the morning. She also chirps and trills whenever she sees a person. She especially loves sleeping with her foster dad. She has become playful in recent weeks and especially loves mouse toys. She would probably do best in a quiet household with older, cat savvy children. She up to date on vaccinations and has been fully vetted. This sweet cat deserves a loving home so please consider adopting her.
