Hi everyone!  My name is Mellow and I am completly that... mellow, comfy, shnuggly lap kitty who loves my humans.  They say I'm a moderate/severe CH baby.  My foster Momma thinks I want everything done for me, but she keeps telling me that I can do it myself and finds ways to make me stronger.  I hope someone can love me and continue to help me gain confidence and get stronger as I get bigger!

2.19.2024:  Mellow is a sweet baby who loves to cuddle.  He is learning how to stand to eat as I hold him.  He gets around pretty good especially with some food motivation. Mellow does not stand alone or walk, however I've seen him get on all 4's briefly a few times recently.   He is quite shy and leary of newcomers, but he has gotten used to all big and little cats and 2 puppies in his foster home.  As long as everyone is gentle and respectful of his boundries, Mellow could be fine with other animals.  Right now Mellow eats 3 times a day, a mixture of wet and dry food mixed with water.  His potty habits are pretty good, but not perfect.  He does use a low entry litter box w/ sides and a puppy pad right now.  I am hoping to get him used to pine pellets when he gets a bigger area.  He would need his own area like a small room or large enclosure when not being directly watched.  Mellow will probably never do stairs, so one level is best or just the lowest level.  He is also pretty vocal and we are learning the different voices as they associate with activity, especially going potty. 

I will update this as Mellow gets stronger and makes accomplishments!
