Meet Barley, she can be a bit reserved around strangers, but warms up pretty quickly and lets her affectionate nature show.  Before you know it, her little paws will jump onto your lap and she’ll want to be pet and cuddled.  Barley is a sweet kitten who loves to play with her littermates, feather toys and her squeaky mouse toy.

Barley is being fostered with her littermates, Juniper and Rye.

Barley is positive for FeLV (feline leukemia virus) which means she can only cohabitate with other FeLV+ kitties.  FeLV is species- specific and only contagious to other cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals.  Barley is good with other cats; she has not been around children or dogs.

You are welcome to visit Barley or her siblings in my home where they are being fostered, I live in Saylorsburg, PA.

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

  • Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
  • Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
  • Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states).  These will need to be kept current after adoption.
  • Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
  • Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health.  This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
  • Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
