Leon is an 8-year-old Exotic Shorthair with the smooshiest face, the biggest heart, and the tiniest nose holes you’ve ever seen. He just recovered like a champ from dental surgery and now that he is ready for adoption, he’s going to fly out the door. So if you’re even remotely interested, put an app in asap!

Let’s talk Leon…

 Affection Level: Olympic Gold
Leon is very needy—in the best (and most inconvenient) way. He wants to be with you, on you, preferably in your neck or fully on your face. He’s basically a weighted blanket with whiskers. Don't think you can ignore him. He won't take no for an answer. He will sit next to you with his cute, little, sad eyes and gently tap you with his paw until you relent and let him climb on you.

 Social Skills: Unbelievably Friendly
From day one, Leon has adored every dog and cat he’s met—even if they weren’t sure what he was at first. (Honestly, fair.) He’s now happily playing with his new furry friends and clearly living his best life. He is bossy, so if he is with another cat, it should be one who doesn't mind confident cats. He also is fine NOT being around cats as well, so he'd be happy as an only cat. He isn't afraid of the foster family's dog, either.  

 Brains? Ehhh...
He’s not winning any cat IQ tests. Navigating a new house? Took him a few days. But to be fair, his sense of smell doesn’t work great since his little nostrils are so small, which is a big deal for cats. Still, his go-with-the-flow cluelessness just adds to his charm.

 Maintenance: Medium-High
Leon has a luxurious double coat that sheds like a dream—if your dream includes wearing cat hair everywhere you go. He’ll need regular brushing and daily face/eye wiping. He also needs an adopter who gets his neediness and is ready to give him the attention he deserves.

So if you’re looking for a clingy, comical snugglebug with a face only everyone could love—Leon’s your guy. He’s one in a million, and he knows it!
