Named for the sound of his meow as a kitten - like a little laser gun - Pew Pew is very affectionate and playful.

Background: In the summer of 2023, little Pew Pew was placed with another singleton kitten in a loving foster home. They became fast friends and learned to be cats together. They got along great with each other and the resident cats in the home, where they had free reign of the house.

First Foster Home: Pew Pew lived in his first foster home from then until mid-January. His foster dad said of his time there: Pew Pew is possibly the most cuddly cat - he loves cuddling and being petted. He will give head bonks to show he wants attention and affection. He wants to know what you are doing at all times. Pew Pew loves trying to play with everything and testing the gravity of objects. He is amazed at water dripping from the faucet.

Current Foster Home: In mid-January 2024, he moved to a new foster home where he is confined to the foster room with several other cats. This was a HUGE change for Pew Pew and he was very scared and would constantly growl and go after the other cats for the first week. Within 2 weeks, he had calmed down and was so much better. Even when he first arrived, he was immediately affectionate with his new foster mom and would rub and give head bonks.  He quickly became a lap cat here too.

Other cats: Pew Pew had done great with the other cats in his first foster home. We expect he'll calm down here even more given time. Plus, he's confined to a single room with several other cats so he's doing pretty well now. He will still swat sometimes and want to wrestle the others. We will test him around the foster's dogs soon.

Give Pew Pew a Chance:  Transitions can be hard for many cats. We would love to see Pew Pew adopted by a patient person or family who will give him time to acclimate to his new surroundings with a proper, slow introduction to the household, especially other pets. In return, he will give you all his love and affection.
