Looking for a FRIEND for your current cat? Meet Jeremiah.
He LOVES LOVES LOVES other cats and gets along great with the other cats in his foster home and wants to be friends and rub against them.
Jeremiah is a big boy at 13 pounds! He is an adorable black and white tuxedo - so sweet and calm. He has made great progress in foster care, but is still timid.
He loves being petted and purrs easily. He will rub against your legs for attention and come to be petted. He enjoys Churu squeezable treats and all sorts of crunchy treats. He is also playful and will chase after the wand toys.
He is cautious, so he will need an adopter who understands this and who will give lots of love and patience as he warms up in his new home.
He would do best being adopted into a relatively calm household since he is timid, and going into a home that has another friendly cat to bond with, or be adopted with one.
He has not been around dogs or children, but we think he would probably be fine with calm dogs and kids who are respectful of cats if given plenty of time to adjust.
All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:
Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption.
Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
