Valiant is around 2 years old, but is so petite at just 6.2 pounds! She is a beautiful gray cat with white markings, and an adorable pink nose.
Personality: Valiant is super friendly and loves attention. She flops onto her side and rolls over for a quick belly rub. She is a purr machine, too. She is very playful as well. She makes the cutest little squirrelly, chirpy sounds. She is a lap cat and a biscuit maker.
Good with people, kids, cats & dogs: She is great with adults and would probably be good with kids too, as she is gentle and sweet. She enjoys the 4 other foster cats in her foster home. She likes to nap with them and play together. She also met the Great Dane in her foster home and was so brave, which is no surprise given her name.
You can see more PICS and watch her VIDEOS by going to her profile on FURR's website (if you aren't here already, like if you're coming from Petfinder.com). There will be a link to click (see below).
Background: A few months ago, Valiant was found in a cage with 5 other cats outside at a warehouse storage center. Someone dumped them without food or water in the hot sun. Luckily for them they were found in time and are with our rescue.
Other fosters: Valiant is currently being fostered with Jonas, Abe & Tip Toe (double adoption), and Pilgrim (who was also rescued with Valiant that day).
Location/Meeting: Approved applicants may visit her in her foster home in Warren County, NJ and meet all the cats there. In addition, any cat you wish to meet can be brought to our regular adoption events in Easton or Phillipsburg. We can also meet at a mutually convenient time and place.
All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:
Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption.
Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
