Pilgrim is a sweet LAP CAT who is super friendly, loves attention, and is affectionate. Check out her cute videos!
She immediately acclimated to her current foster home, where she is being fostered with Valiant, one of the other cats that she was rescued with, and Jonas, a young male cat already in the foster home.
A few months ago, Pilgrim was found in a cage with 5 other cats outside at a warehouse storage center. Someone dumped them without food or water in the hot sun. Luckily for them, they were found in time and are with our rescue.
She enjoys the other cats and even naps with them. In particular, she likes to nap with Jonas, whom she immediately took to when she arrived. She even likes when he grooms her.
Pilgrm is very playful and likes wand toys, catnip mice, spring toys and anything really.
She loves people and would probably be great with kids in particular, as she is gentle.
She loves to climb into her foster mom's lap and get petted or take a nap. She has a sweet purr, too.
Pilgrim even met the Great Dane in her foster home and did very well. (See video) She was understandably cautious at first, but after about 10 minutes, she came out of the foster room to explore and be near the dog. We think she would be fine with a dog who is respectful of cats, given time to adjust with a proper introduction.
Pilgrim does have a 4/6 heart murmur which does not seem to bother her. She still is a ball of energy. We can tell you more about this.

Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
