It's been said that the 3rd time is a charm and that 11 is the new 7!  I'm hoping this is true for Toby!  You see, Toby is searching for his 3rd home and he is 11.
Let me explain;
Toby was one of 9 adult cats rescued from a burning house where the owner died.  The owner was also a hoarder & many other cats died in that fire.  This was in 2019 & at that time Toby was estimated to be 5 years old.  He had already been neutered when he was rescued.
He was then adopted by a special needs couple who loved him very much but they wound up falling behind on their rent & getting evicted.  Sadly, they couldn't take Toby.  Barely being able to afford food for themselves they were feeding Toby food that put weight on him.  He was always a big boy but he is now 19lbs.  I have him eating mostly wet food & IAMS dry weight management.
Toby is a nice, gentle & sweet boy.  He will need time to decompress until he shows you his true colors.  I've had him for a little over a month & it took him 2-3 weeks to settle in.  Now he comes to me for pets & he loves greenies!
Toby has had a recent medical visit & the only concern was his weight.
He is so deserving of a forever home!!

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

• Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
• Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
• Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states).  These will need to be kept current after adoption.
• Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
• Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health.  This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
• Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
